Newsletters of the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department
Starting in May 2004, we're publishing a newsletter a few times a year. Each issue will feature stories about the department, including an introduction to a specific member, and descriptions about specialized teams or skills within the department. We distribute them electronically by email. To be included on our circulation list, send a note to . Your email address will not be distributed or visible to others receiving the newsletter. A few printed copies will be available at the Aurora Free Library and at some businesses around town. All issues of the newsletter will be available here.

- The October 2005 newsletter features Jim Bailey and Incident Command. This year was the 35th anniversary for the Auxiliary, and Alice Bradley has written a retrospective.
- The February 2005 newsletter features Sarah Homick and the Ice Rescue Team. Winter safety tips and the Ham and Turkey Raffle are featured, too.
- The October 2004 newsletter features Carl Whiffen, and a history of our Water Rescue. Also included are birth and marriage announcements (!) and some useful safety tips.
- The May 2004 newsletter features Ron Jones and the High Angle Rescue Team.
